A Lovely Weekend

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I am very happy that my parents have arrived from Michigan for about a 6 week stay. We have finished moving our stuff into the cottage just in time. They will stay there while we stay at my Husband's family home just down the street. Also, next week is the Harpswell Islands Festival's 250th anniversary and my mother, sister and I have a booth to sell handmade jewelry. It should be lots of fun, and I'll be sure to take lots of pictures of the festivities!

Here our a few photos from our weekend:
This is the cutest little cottage, I just love it and I thought I would share it will all of you. The new owners have taken a lot of time with the little details to make this cute as a button!

See all of the sweet bird feeders? I bet its wonderful to wake up here every morning to the chirps of birds & the smell of salty sea air.

I love the Lobster Buoy Feeder!

Here is another collection of old wooden buoys and an increasingly harder find, an old wooded lobster trap.

They installed beautiful granite steps and a brick walk way lined with solar lights. Very inviting!

What a pretty view from their screened in porch!

Even their back entrance is neat as a pin!

Next, I went to spent a little time on my neighbor's ( and very good friend's) deck for a few cocktails.

WOW!!!!!!! LOOK AT HER VIEW! ITS JUST BEAUTIFUL!

Even Abby can't help but stare!

"Mom, I think see a lobster! Maybe you should let me go down there and scout things out! "

"Please?"

How can I say no to those faces?

Thanks for visiting! :-) I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hello - just found you from Connie's blog. After viewing your photos of Maine - I got lonesome! My sister lives near Blue Hill and we enjoyed a trip to your part of the country a few summers ago. The flower I most associate with Maine is the lupine!

That lobster looks delicious too!

What a beautiful site you live in! I wish I could visit - I'd bring Maggie along. I was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, by the way!

You live in as close to Eden, as it gets! How lovely!!

And, I just can't imagine saying no to those faces. You have really pretty Scotties. And to have two must be so much fun. I'd like another one.
