250th Harpswell Festival

This weekend was the 250th Harpswell Festival and my mother had a booth to showcase her handmade jewelry. It was her very first event and I'm pleased & proud to say, she was very successful. As anyone who sells their handmade items knows, there is a lot to learn the first time around. I'm confident though that our next few events will be even better! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get many photos of the festival in full swing as I was working the booth, but I did get some good ones. Enjoy!

Here she is hard at work. This could be anytime between 7:00AM and 12:00PM The night before the festival.

Getting Set up

It's hard to call it work, when this is where you're doing it!

I absolutely love small town festivals. Nothing big and showy - just plain fun. Good luck to your Mom - her jewelry is beautiful.

Looks like a great festival. Has your mom considered selling on etsy? It is very inexpensive and I have heard that ebay takes a lot more commision. She should look into it, it has worked very well for me:>)

Your mom's jewelry looks beautiful. Be sure to put her ebay store on your blog. I'd love to take a look.

I like the gentleman in the red kilt with the wife in blue tartan scarf. And what was witht he bagpipe player in what looks like Black Watchman tartan kilt and dress?

The whole festival looks like fun.
