In case you didn't get enough of the lawn work from my last post...here are few more pics!

Boy that shed really needs to be painted blue...all in good time!

As you can see- it was a very foggy, wet day- but that's probably great for the seeds!

Check out the new light my WONDERFUL sister Missy got for me!
My father-in-law installed it this weekend. Thanks Jay!

This was a huge improvement!

I'm already planning my next project, although I think it will be a next spring type of project. Nikki at the Scarlett Rose Garden suggested that I plant a popular cottage flower called Hollyhocks, so I went online to investigate them. They are beautiful and I will definitely in-corporate them into my garden next spring. But while browsing plants, I came across another pretty one called Silver Lace Vine . As there is a very small pathway now leading up to the house between the fence and some ground cover I thought it would be the perfect spot for a garden arbor and these pretty climbing vines. I can see just see it now, walking through the flower covered arbor, walking up the little stone walkway to my front door!
Is it springtime yet, I'm already excited! :-)
A few more pretty arbors for your enjoyment!
I really love the crushed stone walk way here, but what would it be like walking on that in heels, or in the rain. Hmmmm.... that may not be best for a front entrance.

And because I'm a big dork (who is also trying to learn photoshop) this is kinda what I'm going for. Feel free to laugh- this is my first attempt using photoshop.

Have a great Monday!

I love your scotties. I have a mini schnauzer, Jackson, and he is quite spoiled. You guys are working so hard and I can't wait to see everything when it is finished. I bet you can't either.
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
I just found you through FOR THE LOVE OF COTTAGE and loved reading about your yard and cottage renovations!! Hollyhocks is a flower that I've been wanting to try, too! I'll bookmark you and stop by again!...Donna
LOVE that light fixture!
I am considering using the same one on the inside of our home.

PS...Thanks for including me in your blog list!!! So sweet!
I am impressed with your progess on the lawn.
You might want to research the Silver Lace Vine for your area, as it can be kind of a thug....spreading by underground rhizomes.
