Tropical storm Hannah didn't dappen our spirts- and we got a lot acomplished this weekend.

As you can see- our old driveway was quite pretty- And the trees gave us some privacy, however the bank would not let us purchase our home unless we moved the driveway to the left, onto our own property which meant that the trees had to go! :-(

There was a ton of wood which we gave it a friend who plans on chopping it and burning it in his wood stove this winter.

This is how it looked for a long time until this weekend when we were finally able to make some progress on it.

So with the help of our neighbor & her wonderful father, we started shoveling gravel. Woohoo-

Here is the semi-finished product. We are considering adding a layer of recycled fill that is supposed to pack like cement once spread in with the gravel.

And now for some random photos around the house-It was a beautiful day today after the rain passed.
