One weekend in Maine

It was a wet and rainy Sunday here, so Jason and I spent the day inside. We baked bread, tidied the house and spent the rest of day watching cheesy 80's movies.
It was a wonderful, relaxing day all in all.

I did get a chance to take a picture of the grass between showers. Its coming in nicely!

We finished setting up Jason's little "Technology Den" When you live in such a small place, its important to have a space that's all your own. This is Jason's space.

Yes.....That's a computer monitor on his desk. Its a 32 inch monitor. I don't even try to understand why...whatever makes him happy!

Its' dusk now, and we are just settling in for another work week. There's something about the cool, dark nights of fall that make me want to light a few candles

I hope you have a great week!

My hubby is NOT allowed to see that monster monitor! LOL I love the coziness of candles~perfect for rainy days. Your grass is coming in beautifully. You are accomplishing so much and I am really enjoying seeing your cottage become your own.

P.S. Love your music on your blog. I never heard of Melody Gardot but I'm totally hooked now. Thanks!

Jason's den looks fab.. and so tidy. Wow, I feel like a complete slob now as I look around our office, lol!

Jeez, I'd hate to think of what my mug looks like on that humongo monitor, snort! Just lemme know if I need to pluck any nose hairs or anything, ha!

The grass is really coming in nicely. Hey, I heard that hollyhocks don't usually bloom the first year. : (
I'm going to plant them this fall and hope for the best!
