I don't have too many windows in my tiny little home, but my kitchen window is my favorite. Its pint-sized like the rest of my house, but when ever I do my dishes, I can look out and see the water. Sometimes Sailboats will drift by or a Lobsterman will idle while he pulls his traps from the water.
Of course my pups much prefer the sliding door for their viewing pleasure!

Thanks for stopping by my blog; glad you enjoyed your visit. I am in Real Estate also, did you know that? How is the market in Portland? It is deadly slow here. As far as moving to Alaska...you couldn't pay me enough. It is quite poor, even in the cities (from what I could see), it is extremely expensive as everything has to be flown in or brought in by barge and there is a huge alcoholism problem.. Add in 22 hours of darkness in the winter. I say stay in Maine where you have a chance of summer!
