More Flooring!

So, I've been a little quiet lately because my mother was visiting, and we have been working around the house quite a bit. I gave you a little preview the other day of the floors we were putting in, here are some more pictures. ( Before pictures on the left for those of you who are new to my blog).

We also added some shutters to the outside of the cottage and did some more painting. Next we need to rip up the tile in the kitchen and instal the trim-but its time for a break now!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

Hi Elizabeth,
I've just found your blog, your cottage is looking great and you do have great sunsets! Sorry about the job, but you have plenty to keep you busy until the next one turns up.

Your floors look fantastic!! They look like the same color that we are using in our flip house. After doing just the kitchen I am glad we didn't do a whole house! Oh my!!! Such a simple thing gave us such major fits!!
I like the bedding you have too! Looks so Pottery Barn!

How is the in-laws place coming along? I am so anxious to see how the kitchen turned out!!

Everything is looking so beautiful. What a transformation. I love hardwoods and they are so much easier to keep clean. I hope you have a lovely day ♥

Congratulations, your transformation is really taking shape. Still making slow progress on converting an average condo into beachy shabby for this little global traveller, slow but having lots of fun thanks to inspiration from bloggers like you.
