We have some of the most beautiful sunrises here in Maine but in the winter I never get to see them because I'm always at work before the sun comes up. But now that the winter snow is melting away and the days are getting longer we have started to see them again.
On a side note, my birthday wish was granted for a new matching chair!

Happy Birthday! The sunrise is beautiful. We lived on the water last year before moving to our current house and I really miss seeing the sunrises! Or the moon for that matter!
Speaking of the moon, lol, a Moon Pie isn't really like a whoopie pie. The filling is a firm marshmallow filling and the outside sandwich part is more like a flaky graham cracker. Not really a crunchy texture but not spongy like whoopie pies either. Then the whole "sandwich" is covered in a thin layer of chocolate that hardens a bit as it dries. They are really good and come in other flavors too, like Strawberry, Vanilla and Banana but I'm a die-hard Original girl myself!
